Ann Habeck
Ann Marie (Schneider) Habeck was born on March 9, 1969 and is the oldest child of Clarence ("Butch") & Shirley (Greenwood) Schneider. She has one other sibling, a younger brother, Michael Schneider. She has been a member of St. James Parish in Cooperstown since her baptism there in 1969. She graduated from Denmark High School with the Class of 1987 and from there she went on to college where she graduated from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology and Chemistry. She also attended UW-Madison for certifications in Microbiology/Bacteriology and Infectious Diseases. She is also board certified (CIC) in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Ann is currently employed as a Disability Benefit Specialist with the Manitowoc County Aging & Disability Resource Center.
The Adult Enrichment Coordinator is a limited part-time position which Ann has filled since 2001. Originally the position was exclusively with St. James, but in 2007, the Adult Enrichment Coordinator position became a shared position, serving all parishes in our linkage (All Saints – Denmark, Holy Trinity – New Denmark, St. James – Cooperstown, St. Joseph – Kellnersville, and St. Mary -- Glenmore/Stark).
Ann took on this limited part-time position to better enrich her own faith as well as to serve others and to share our faith. She also knows what it is like to deal with adversity and how this affects one's faith along the way, and strives to help others grow closer to God through strengthening and enriching our adult lives.
On September 29, 2007, Ann married Kyle Habeck at St. James Catholic Church. Kyle works on the family farm, Habeck Homestead Farms, LLC. Ann & Kyle live in Maribel with their two dogs, one cat, and aquarium of fish. In her spare time, Ann enjoys computers, reading, walking, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with friends & family.
