Rosary Society

We have books, music and educational material suitable for teens and adults.  Take and return on the honor system, no cost!
 
Established in 1894
Mission Statement
Inspire parish members in the sincere love and devotion of the Holy Rosary.  Following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary to help people grow in their faith, promote stewardship, and show compassion for our fellow parishioners through the good works of the Rosary Society.
 
Our Purpose
  • To unite all women of the parish in the work of Catholic action.
  • The Society offers a rosary recited for deceased members.
  • Maintain necessities for church kitchen.
  • Communion Mass for society members the day of the Mother/Daughter breakfast.
  • Work for funeral lunches.
  • Prepare and serve soup luncheon.
  • Started the St. Joseph's Parish library.
  • Contribute to various charitable organizations.
  • Contribute toward the Sanctuary Light for living and deceased members.
  • Contribute toward the Hosts and Wine for living and deceased members. 
  • Contributed to the Stained Glass Window Project
  • Donated towards the office computer, Sister Gerri”s computer and office furniture
  • Donated towards the tuck pointing of stone wall east of the church
  • Donated towards the new hot water heater
  • Purchased Alb for Father Maurice
Benefits
  • A yearly Mass shall be offered for the living and deceased members of the Society the day of the Mother/Daughter breakfast.
  • All members share in the good works performed by the Society.
  • Recitation of the Rosary for the living and deceased members of the Society before each meeting.
  • Recitation of the Rosary for a deceased member before the Mass on the day of the funeral.

Meetings

The monthly meetings are held at 9:00AM on the first Wednesday of the month of March, April, May, September, October and November. Yearly dues are $2.00.  For additional information, questions, or if interested in becoming a member of the Rosary Society, contact the parish office or Ruth Noack at 920-242-9349.

The Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary

Hail, Mary! Full of grace, The Lord is with thee, Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen
