At St. Joseph we embrace and celebrate Christian Stewardship as a way of life. We believe that God has given each of us the ability and gifts to do certain things well and we are to develope those talents for the building of the parish community. We invite you to pray about sharing your talents and gifts in one or more of the various ministries listed below. ADULT ENRICHMENT: The Circle of Faith parishes work together in providing continued adult enrichment under the guidance of Ann Haback, program coordinator. More
BEFRIENDER MINISTRY: A listening presence. St. Joseph Befriender Ministers offer prayerful support through compasionate listening and caring to homebound, sick, bereaved and anyone in need. MUSIC/CHOIR: Have musical talents or just love to sing? St. Joseph's choir always welcomes new members to help lead the parish in song and praise Sunday mornings at Mass. More
PRAYER CHAIN: An intercessory prayer chain is a group of people who have been called to the ministry of praying for others. They have committed themselves to pray regularly, confidentially and individually for the people and concerns that are requested of them. RCIA: The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process by which people become members of the church, help people return or prepare for Confirmation as adults. More
SOCIAL CONCERNS COMMITTEE: The Committee recognizes and responds to a variety of social needs through education, charity and service. We work to educate and draw awareness to our children and parishioners on the church's teachings on Pro Life Issues; help the needy through various campaigns held throughout the year; inform people on where to go to get help for their particular needs and having available pamphlets that cover a diversified area of help subjects. More
WORSHIP COMMITTEE: The Worship Committee, along with the presider has the responsibiltiy for planning and executing the liturgy. St. Joseph works together with All Saints-Holy Trinity, St. James, and St. Mary's to assist and support the people involved in liturgical ministries, including alter servers, choir, environment, Eucharistic ministers, greeters, lectors, and ushers. More
YOUTH MINISTRY: Youth ministry starts at Sunday Mass with Church Time, continues through Religious Education, and further embraces the faith of our teenagers in a program designed to guide them on their spiritual journey. Ann Mleziva is the Circle of Faith Youth Minister. More
